European Elections: "disability votes count"

The EDF therewith wants to emphasize the importance for disabled people to have a fair and equal access to the voting procedures, as well as to promote an inclusive participation in the elections whereby all EU citizens will choose their representatives at the European Parliament. "Disability votes count" does not only aim at conveying the message that it is important for people with disabilities to have the possibility to vote freely and autonomously, but also at raising awareness among the disabled community to carefully select those MEPs for whom disability represents a priority in their political activities and initiatives.
