Strategic Enforcement and the EC Equal Treatment DirectivesStrategic Enforcement and the EC Equal Treatment Directives (is the 6th experts' meeting report under the project Strengthening the cooperation between specialised bodies, which seeks to ensure a high and uniform standard of anti-discrimination law across Europe. The meeting took place in Dublin on 4-5 March 2004, hosted by the Equality Authority. The meeting took place during the Irish presidency of the European Union, and this occasion was marked with addresses from the Irish Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform Michael McDowell T.D., the Head of the European Commission Unit for Anti-discrimination, Fundamental Social Rights and Civil Society Barbara Nolan, and the Chief Executive of the Equality Authority Niall Crowley.
