International conference: "An alternative self-representation? Ethnic minority media, between hegemony and resistances"

An international conference titled "An alternative self-representation? Ethnic minority media, between hegemony and resistances" will be held with the partnership of the Council of Europe on 18-19 March 2010 in Poitiers, France.

The conference will consider how minority media can contribute to a wider expression of diversity. Besides international guest speakers, it will feature a roundtable organised with journalists of ethnic minority media in Europe.
