Equinet Croatian Member and a Croatian NGO are organising a conference on anti-discrimination in Dubrovnik on 25 & 26 November 2009. Representatives from equality bodies are invited to deliver an address.
The Croatian Equality Body - Office of the Ombudsman, the Office for Human Rights of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and Centre for Peace Studies, a Croatian NGO, are organising an anti-discrimination themed conference in Dubrovnik on 25 & 26 November 2009.
Due to some organizational difficulties, the conference organizers are still looking for two speakers – representatives of Equality Bodies in addition to the numerous confirmed international and national experts. Please note that the position of the representative is not relevant, the nominated speaker should only have the ability to present his/her NEB.
The speaker would be expected to arrive to Dubrovnik on 24 November 2009, while the working days of the conference are November 25 (full day) and 26 (half day) 2009. The conference organisers will book the hotel and flights as well as pay for travel and accommodation at a five star hotel in Dubrovnik (hotel Bellevue). A fee of 500 euros will be remunareted to the speaker.
To register interest in participating in the conference as a speaker, please contact Tena Šimonović Einwalter, Legal Adviser to the Ombudsman email@example.com and Nikolina Patalen from the Office for Human Rights at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
