Equinet is opening a 6 month-long traineeship position to be filled as soon as possible in order to assist the Equinet Secretariat, a small team of six staff members based in Brussels. The trainee will in particular assist the Finance and Administration Officer in managing the daily activities of the office and organising the numerous events planned for the period (notably two seminars, one conference, four Equinet working group meetings), as foreseen in the Equinet Work Plan 2018. More detailed information can be found in the Traineeship Description Document below.

This is a fulltime paid traineeship to be performed at the Equinet secretariat, located in Brussels, Belgium. Equinet offers the traineeship in the framework of a Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle under Belgian law with a financial monthly compensation of around € 970 net + holiday pay + meal vouchers + coverage of local transportation costs (monthly subscription to public transport).

This legal scheme aims to help recent graduates getting a first professional experience in a field related to the main focus of their studies. It is not intended for people who would need an internship within the framework of their studies.

Equinet will organise face-to-face or telephone/Skype interviews with shortlisted candidates at a mutually-agreed time, indicatively on 26 or 29-30 January, during which the candidates’ profile will be reviewed.

Selected candidates might be requested to prepare a short assignment in view of the interview.

Applications from non-retained candidates will be destroyed and applications from selected candidates will be processed in the best achievable conditions of confidentiality. They will be securely archived for one year before destruction and made accessible only to the HR managers (i.e. the Finance and Administration Officer and the Executive Director).
