"How to use discrimination tests?" - Centre for Equal Treatment in Luxembourg

September 14th 2012
Discrimination tests, also called "testing", can be used to detect discrimination and discriminatory attitudes often hidden behind false pretenses ("the house is already rented", "open position has already been filled in", "entering the property is limited to members", etc.).

The Centre for Equal Treatment in Luxembourg will organise a day-event in French and German on the topic of discrimination tests on October 5 at the premises of Info-Handicap, 65 Avenue de la Gare, Luxembourg.

The official invitation and agenda can be accessed below:

At the event Mr. Jozef de Witte, Chair of the Equinet Executive Board, will moderate a round-table on the subject of discrimination test with participants such as:

- Daniel ATZENHOFFER from the French Defender of Rights
- Martin FORTEZ from the Belgian Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism
- Me Tania HOFFMANN, Etude GABBANA & HOFFMANN (Luxembourg)
- Alexander KLOSE, Büro für Recht und Wissenschaft (Allemagne)
- Pascal TISSERANT, Université de Lorraine (France)

Registration is free until October 1 and can be made by sending an email to info@cet.lu or by calling +352 26 48 30 33.

French-German interpretation will be available at the event.
