The issue of preventing discrimination in the area of labour and employment was given particular attention at this conference, as this tends to be a problem most citizens encounter in Serbia, but in other countries of the region as well.

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and OSCE Mission to Serbia jointly awarded the Annual Media Prize to journalists for best reports on tolerance.

The participants of this conference included guests from institutions in the region, representatives of the government and other public institutions, Embassies and international organizations as well as the representatives of the civil sector and the media.
