FRA/ ECtHR Handbook on European Non-Discrimination Law

The European Fundamental Rights Agency and the European Court of Human Rights launched their joint guide to non-discrimination on the 21 March in Strasbourg.

The “Handbook on European Non-Discrimination Law” is based on the case law of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice and covers the context and background of non-discrimination law in Europe, discrimination categories and defences, the scope of the law and the ground protected.

The handbook provides a comprehensive guide to European non-discrimination law for legal professionals from judges and law-enforcement officers to equality bodies and legal advice centres.
