The October Focus Week participatory forum: "Building together a Europe for all, Circus against social exclusion" will mark the last quarter of the European Year 2010 for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion. It will take place on 18-20 October in Brussels.

It aims is to provide a space for information, exchange and debates on initiatives to combat poverty in a European context. The forum will be organized around a series of information and discussion spaces, which will happen simultaneously.  Thus specific space will be devoted to participatory sessions (of up to 30 participants) via the open space sessions. These will be proposed and organised by partner organisations. Up to 15 such open space sessions can be organised. The open space sessions may have various objectives (information, awareness-raising, training, debating, exchanging) and can potentially cover the whole scope of various issues. Strong focus should be put on exchange and interaction with participants.

Members of Equinet are invited to submit proposals for open space sessions until 15 July. Maximum two proposals can be submitted from within one European organisation (e.g. including within its membership) It is also possible to co-organise a session with another organisation. Travel and accommodation can be reimbursed for up to two organisers by session.
