Gender Mainstreaming Expert – National Commission for the Promotion of Equality, Malta

 The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) Malta is currently working on the EU co-funded project VS/2010/0819: Gender Mainstreaming – In Practice.  The aim of this project is to establish a common level of understanding of gender mainstreaming among public employees, mainly targeting those involved in policy making. 

 As part of this project, external expertise services are required to:

• give training to the Consultancy Team (that will be established as part of this project) and NCPE technical staff to strengthen the team’s knowledge of gender mainstreaming methods and tools;
• advise and mentor the Consultancy Team;
• provide continuous evaluation through feedback and guidance of the activities carried out throughout the project implementation term; and
• give a presentation on gender mainstreaming during the project’s final conference or as indicated by NCPE.

 In this regard, NCPE issued an ‘External Expertise Services Tender’ requesting submissions for the provision of these services.
