Trans Rights Conference: Putting Trans Rights on the European Agenda

Mandana Zarrehparvar, Equinet Board Member, contributed to the panel discussion on European regional organisations at the conference organised by ILGA Europe.

On behalf of EQUINET, Mrs. Zarrehparvar announced the network initiative to issue an Opinion-Statement on the gap in anti-discrimination legislation with regards to trans people and highlighted the need to address the lack of mandate of the equality bodies in some EU member states in dealing with trans issues.
